Geri Edens has than 30 years of experience practicing administrative law and permitting major infrastructure projects through federal permitting processes, government regulations, and litigation. She has worked in the offshore wind industry since 2004 guiding the first proposed US offshore wind project (Cape Wind) through all federal approvals and successfully defeating more than 30 alleged claims in litigation. Prior to joining Vineyard Offshore, Geri was a partner at major international law firms in Washington, DC, where since 2016 she served as outside counsel to Vineyard Wind. In addition to her work in offshore wind, she has advised on the development of numerous renewable energy projects, offshore oil and gas production facilities, and other major infrastructure projects.
