Alicia Barton

CEO

As CEO, Alicia Barton has responsibility for developing Vineyard Offshore’s portfolio of more than 6 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind projects in North America. With over 15 years’ experience in both public and private sectors, Alicia is a proven leader in clean energy development. She served as CEO of the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and as President and CEO of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), where she led the procurement and contracting of over 6 GW of renewable energy, including New York’s first offshore wind projects. Prior to joining Vineyard Offshore, she was CEO of FirstLight Power, where she managed the largest portfolio of clean energy assets in New England.

Rachel Pachter

Chief Development Officer

 Rachel Pachter has almost twenty-five years of experience in U.S. offshore wind development. Rachel leads Vineyard Offshore’s team conducting early-stage activities including technical development, permitting, environmental activities, workforce development, and tribal and fisheries engagement. Rachel led and finalized the approval of two offshore wind farms in federal waters of the United States, including Vineyard Wind 1.

Ryan Wallace

Chief Financial Officer

Ryan Wallace is Vineyard Offshore’s Chief Financial Officer. His more than 15 years in the energy industry have been focused on merchant generating assets in ISO-New England, New York ISO, and PJM Interconnection. Ryan held an executive position at Great River Hydro, a hydroelectric portfolio company with a significant presence in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from UMass Dartmouth and a master’s degree in Accountancy from Bentley University.

Klaus Skoust Møller

Chief Project Officer

Klaus Skoust Møller, Chief Project Officer, has a successful track record leading construction and development of 2,500 megawatt offshore wind projects worldwide including Race Bank, Burbo Bank, and Gunfleet Sands 3 offshore wind farms. Klaus holds a Juris Doctorate from Aarhus University and a Masters in Economics from Copenhagen Business School. He comes to Vineyard Offshore with more than a decade of experience in the offshore wind industry and currently serves as the CEO of Vineyard Wind 1. He also works as Senior Vice President, Partner at Copenhagen Offshore Partners, a project management team working on offshore wind projects in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Klaus and his family reside in the Boston area and enjoy exploring the New England seashore.

Carrie Cullen Hitt

Head of External Affairs

Carrie Cullen Hitt is Vineyard Offshore’s head of External Affairs, where she leads the team’s state government and regulatory affairs, stakeholder outreach, and corporate communications.

Carrie has worked in the energy industry for over 30 years and in offshore wind since 2018, initially leading the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium. More recently, she served as lead of US Transmission Strategy for Equinor.

Carrie served as President for New Hampshire Transmission, A NextEra Energy Transmission company. She also has served in senior market development roles for NextEra, New Energy Ventures (now Constellation), and the Solar Energy Industries Association.

She received a B.A. from Clark University and an MA from John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Carrie is co-chair of the Artemis Circle of the Boston Boy and Girls Club.
