Vineyard Offshore in the Golden State


Vineyard Offshore, an experienced American offshore wind developer, was awarded BOEM Lease Area 0562 west of Humboldt Bay. This lease area will provide up to 2,000 MW of reliable energy to help meet California’s rising energy demand and power the state’s economy. We look forward to supporting the state’s offshore wind power goals and doing our part to create jobs that benefit communities across the entire state. Vineyard Offshore is backed by CIP, one of the largest renewable energy infrastructure funds in the world, which has a global portfolio of more than 5,000 MW of floating offshore wind.
