Led by the core team behind Vineyard Wind 1,Vineyard Offshore brings the unique perspective of having built collaborative relationships with community and other stakeholders, including those once vehemently opposed to offshore wind projects, and who are now among the project’s best partners.

That’s especially the case with the town of Barnstable, where the project’s subsea cables come to shore at Covell’s Beach and interconnect to the New England power grid. There, we spearheaded a collaborative approach to engagement that built a bridge with a once-resistant community – and which has become a core component of the Vineyard method of offshore wind development.
