Mariner Update

DROP CAMERA SURVEY (522-3)

The School for Marine Science and Technology (SMAST), will be conducting drop camera surveys from the Fishing Vessel Horizon starting on May 3rd and continuing for approximately 8 – 10 days, weather permitting. Surveys will take place in the Vineyard Wind 1 Lease Area 501, a control area to the northeast, Avangrid Lease Area 534, and Vineyard Offshore Area 522.We are committed to communicating and working with local fishermen in the region during all stages of development of the proposed offshore wind farm. If you are fishing or plan to fish in the survey area during this time period, please contact us with any questions or comments.
