Putting communities first

Vineyard Offshore’s community-led approach to our projects means we are committed to reflecting the priorities and needs of local communities. We spend a great deal of time listening to and learning from community groups, local leaders, and residents, then working with a host of partners to maximize project benefits.

Delivering local benefits

Our projects’ benefits include jobs and training opportunities, as well as opportunities for local businesses to join the offshore wind supply chain, delivered with a commitment to communicating openly, fostering trust, and building local partnerships.

Earning trust through collaboration

Vineyard Offshore brings the unique perspective of having built collaborative relationships with community and other stakeholders, including those once opposed to offshore wind projects, who are now among the project’s best partners.

Partnering with an island community

Through a first-in-the-nation Community Benefits Agreement, the Vineyard Offshore team built a close and enduring relationship with an island neighbor, delivering benefits for residents through a community partner and much-needed year-round jobs.
