Annual Report Year 1 | Vineyard Wind 1 Impact on Jobs and Economic Output

Vineyard Wind’s Offshore Wind Development and Reporting Agreement (the “Agreement”) executed with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) requires Vineyard Wind to deliver written annual progress reports that summarize the company’s progress in achieving the goals set forth in Section 1 of the Agreement. Accordingly, this analysis utilizes job and expenditure data collected from 2017 through September 2022 to measure Vineyard Wind’s progress in meeting the requirements outlined in the Agreement, particularly in terms of the extent to which the reported results align with the job and economic output estimates conducted by UMass Dartmouth’s Public Policy Center in 2017.
