Steven Simkins, Vineyard Offshore’s WTG Technical Team Lead is responsible for leading a technical team through the Turbine Supply Agreement negotiation and execution of the offshore wind farm according to such Contract. Prior to joining Vineyard Offshore, Steven spent 2.5 years with Orsted working on various US Offshore Wind projects in a similar Technical Team Lead role. Proudly, Steven had his first role in the US Offshore wind market with Deepwater Wind on the Block Island Wind Farm. Steven is based out of Boston and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado Boulder.
