Nathaniel Mayo is Vineyard Offshore’s Director of Public Affairs a role he also fulfills for the Vineyard Wind 1 project. He oversees local policy issues for the company, heading outreach and coordination efforts with various stakeholders and works on permitting efforts at the state, regional and local level. Nate has over fifteen years experience in public policy, politics and community engagement, having worked with coastal communities on environmental, energy and fisheries issues. He worked for U.S. Congressman William Delahunt and served as legislative director to former Cape and Islands State Sen. Robert O’Leary. Nate holds a MA in Environmental Policy from Tufts University, and serves as vice-chair of the Conservation Commission in his hometown of Provincetown.  He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Cape Light Compact.
