TECHNICAL DESIGN AND PERMITTING MANAGER

As Technical Design and Permitting Manager, Chris Rodstrom develops interconnection designs for new offshore wind projects and the permitting strategies to successfully implement all phases of the projects. Chris manages federal, state and local permitting and associated surveys and studies, and is a member of the bid team preparing competitive proposals submitted in response to state offshore wind solicitations. Prior to working in offshore wind, Chris developed and permitted large-scale solar projects at Clean Energy Collective. Chris also worked at Eversource Energy on the siting, permitting and construction of electric transmission and substation projects throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Before transitioning to the energy field, Chris worked on a variety of biodiversity conservation projects in Asia, Africa and South America for Conservation International and land conservation projects in Massachusetts with The Trustees of Reservations.Chris has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Clark University and a master’s degree from the Yale School of the Environment in Environmental Management. Chris grew up in New York City and currently resides outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
