(BOSTON, MA) – Vineyard Offshore CEO Lars T. Pedersen today released the below statement following the passage of Assembly Bill 1373, legislation that creates a process for offshore wind procurement and will increase grid reliability, by the California Legislature:

Central procurement brings California one step closer to establishing a robust offshore wind industry that will make the state’s grid more reliable, cut harmful carbon pollution, create thousands of jobs and lead to billions in new investment to California. We look forward to Governor Newsom signing this bill into law.”
